Either of these 2 firms. Always been more than helpful finding odd ones when I've needed.
Hambini ! Haven’t watched him since lockdown. Dam you I’ll probably get hooked again.Biggest problem today with skf is fakes.
Genuine still on the go to lists
Think Hambini's go to are NTN from memory
Thats correct, usually see SNR logo on the car stuffIt seems NTN is also SNR. They look good, see how they go.
Koyo for me, every time.Morning all. I need a bunch of bearings for a racing kart - generally for front wheels (6003) type. Back in the day SKF were decent - is that still the case and any recs on a good supplier ? Thanks!
One issue I having with the rear axle bearings is the quality of the grub screws...
That link looks like a great steer, thanks. A bag of 200 should keep me going for a few races.Unbrako is a good brand.

You might be able to find some NOS GKN ones and they will be good as well.
There are lots of grub screw options (look on Misumi) and some come with blue gunge applied (like Ikea bed bolts) or a nylon insert in the side so you do not need to rely on your right arm to stop them unscrewing.
Another option is to replace a single grub screw with two shorter ones and lock the two together - this is a second method to obtain secure fastening that does not rely on (over) torquing a single item.
