Decent angle grinder and finishing question

one thing I haven't seen mentioned is ONE GRINDER IS NOT ENOUGH

you will be forever changing the cutting disk/grinding disk/wire wheel/flap disk and so on

my favourites are Bosch GWS but haven't tried Makita, metabo or dewalt so opinion is skewed

EDIT: only buy good rpm rated wire wheels and wear thick overalls and face/eye/ear protection

Just bought a new Makita, nice and compact size so great for working on cars. Also have a Bosch which is great as well but the Makita was quite a bit cheaper hence why I didn't buy another Bosch.

I must have probably 10 angle grinders...............3 working Makita, 2 working Bosch, and non working Metabo, De-Walt the rest ROC, which failed pretty quickly.

Makita 115mm for me and just the one and only,CBA with grinders all over the place getting leads tangled up etc,dont take more than a few seconds to change a disc

It's pretty well the entry level one now days, don't think you can get less than 720w 125mm Makita anymore. About £45, they go up to £200 on 125mm and like 1400w+ with anti vibration, variable speed, thermal cut-out and other tech.

Can't see how it's any worse than other angle grinders for changing disc.

It's bosch pro for me. Had it a couple of years and it's been great.it's had some hard work to. Only thing I can say is that when used with a wire knot wheel on full speed is a nightmare as no variable speed.otherwise great little grinder

I have three and my personal favourite is the cheapest by miles. Got it last year screwfix offer 25quid hitachi. It's just waaaaaaay more comfortable to hold and feels more grunty than my two Bosch pros.
I can't remember the last time I picked up my Bosch I use my chinese hitachi for all my grinding, cutting, sanding etc. Love it and if I kill it I'll buy another on offer or not.
