If 35mm is too much for your printer then just taper the inside in towards the top if permitted. I always design for no supports for FDM.
Can't be done with the clearances available.

You can taper (chamfer) to 20mm and bridge that and still meet the requirements. Also note that the internal depth is 50mm - not sure where that is referenced from. Can't be done with the clearances available.
i need a waterproof switch enclosure
That's going to depend on the conditions - pressure, temperature etcWill a normal 3D printer deliver waterproof items?

50mm depth is pretty arbitrary. I had to decided on a size and 50mm is a easy one. I just need it to be the depth of the switch plus enough for the cable to be secured and any excess to hide away. You can taper (chamfer) to 20mm and bridge that and still meet the requirements. Could always make it 2 piece so have the main switch tophat then a screw in plug for the back edge.
Would mean printing 2 items but could stand them both up and no supports needed.
That's the great thing with 3d printing. So many different ways to approach a problem.Already in hand, with a screw in base.
Yes. The waterbowl I made for the cat is 3D printed - should be picture of it around here somewhere,Will a normal 3D printer deliver waterproof items?
you're a legendAlready in hand, with a screw in base.

that will do fine, can always sand it down if i want it smooth, but tbh it looks deliberate and kinda cool
