Just ordering my bits for the rebuild of my Jones and shipman grinder.
So I've got two 24V coil 400v 3P contactors and a 24V 30W PSU. Plus a 6A or 9A 4P MCB for the main incoming.
Oh and I need a contactor for extraction, that's 220V but will be on same 24v circuit.
I'm going to attempt to use the original J&S switches but obviously run them 24v DC instead of 400 AC!
I'm thinking, should this DC circuit be fused. It seems that it would be wise to fuse this to prevent over current?
And should the single phase Contactor have a separate 2P and lower current rating MCB?
