MIGed or debossed?

Debossed. Looks like 0.1/0.2mm copper plate. Had to polish it and all.

Agree with all your comments, I can't get the twelve year old boys head out of a screen to do anything creative

I've found a couple kits. Best order something soon for Christmas

copper sheet can be picked up relatively cheaply from scrap yards - I bought a 6ft x 2ft sheet of 0.8mm for a tenner in august. could have had the whole 40m+ roll for 200 quid.

Chasing chisels/punches can be ground relatively easily from lengths of 12mm or 16mm mild steel bar - I find they don't need heat treating for copper, so mild steel works perfectly well.

I never seen any copper for sale, then I never looked. I will have see about buying a sheet for her

Side of a hot water cylinder? might be a bit thick - she'll need a bigger 'ammer
