Dating gas regulators

I've come across a pair of cutting regs OA with the replace date 2018,so wanted to know when were they made,so with a bit of research i found this helpful bit of info

health and safety insurance and more profitable for manafacturers that aren't going to complain about it

i have never had a problem with an OLD regulator, i've had a few regulator issues tho but it's allways been with the newer ones that are in date. had a few blowing off the relif valve and makeing funky noises or just not maintaing anything like the pressure they were set at

Doesnt matter how well you think you know your regulator, you still need a flashback arrestor.
