not that im in to dashcams but dont they give the spec sheet on them when buying eg what the light lux levels are down 2The "day time" clips I`ve seen so far from various cams seem ok. I think the real test is mabe the night time capabilities.
I dont ever want to have to touch the unit (outside of setup).
This may need a little bit of maintenance to be carried out occasionally. If the camera has a 'G' sensor it will likely record events that will protected from being overwritten, for example driving over / through a pot hole. If left, it could potentially fill the memory card and have no space left for new events, so either a format of the memory card or delete the events from the memory card at some point would be required.
Short clip from earlier today at 16.34, in settings change to 1080p for HD
Is that in a van?
Yes....
I've bought a few of these over the years as they have got better and cheaper . One of the better ones for only about £26 has sensors ,gps ,twin camera's and direct link to Google Earth . As soon as you put a microSD card in the camera it loads the required software on to it as an .exe file . To view back simply insert the card into a card reader in your laptop/PC and double click the exe file . All the footage appears with dates ,times ,etc , click the earth icon and it links directly to Google earth to view the map . There is 6 pages to the menu , sound on/off ,1 cam [front or rear ] or both cams ,image quality ,image size , etc .etc.etc .Very clever device for the money .Picture quality is also very good .
