Dan-Mig

Anyone have any experience with a Dan-Mig 195 220 volt mig welder? I know they aren't made now but from what I could find they were professional welders when they were built. I bought one fairly cheap. Hope I didn't get a pile of scrap. Thanks for replys, Ben

Mag-Power

Mag-Power must have either been making Dan-Mig or Dan-Mig sold out to them. I found some Dan-Migs online that had a Mag-Power for sell beside them and they were exactly the same machine.

Got it home

Well I got the Dan-Mig home. It is a copy of a Mag-Power. It has the spot weld and stitch weld features. It goes from 40 to 180 amps which will work good for me. I seldom weld anything that I would need less than 40 amps and if I do I have a little Century for that. I think I got a good deal for what I need this for. Ben

Sounds good. I had a Clarke 130A MIG and soon found I wanted more. I wish I had gotten the 180.

If the wire feed is smooth, it should be good welder. I think I have seen the Dnam-MIG and it was similar to Century/Snap-on.
