There is no room to machine the existing housing, it is so thin. It's literally regrind or try lapping.£100 for two bearings and two seals and they conveniently forget to mention you have to machine the housing out to make them fit.
I would say most of the race is okay, and it's actually impact damage from the obviously harder rollers in about ¼ of the raceway.
The chassis is linebored after welding, these housings then bolt through the chassis from what Peter was explaining.
Beautifully made. Must of been absolutely no expense spared in its manufacture.
