I want to have a go at making the cleat in the pic below (dunno what it’s officially called but it’s the bit with the holes in it)
I want it made out of copper, I’ve got a fair bit of an old hot water cylinder to play around with
what the best way? I was thinking a rod of the appropriate size underneath then a wooden dye on top and beat it into submission?
is there a better way?
