I know the post is a week old but thought I should show my face here.
Happy to hear the positive comments.
They are indeed a Chinese machine but it is a Chinese machine built to our own specification. As someone mentioned earlier, it is fully checked and inspected here in Cheltenham and I put down test welds at low, middle and high settings (using a MB15 torch that was supplied with our sample so you don't get anything looking 'grubby').
An earlier comment about spares / repairs / advice;
Spares - our torch is MB15 style and as such EVERY welding outlet will sell these parts. Shrouds shouldn't cost more than a couple of quid and contact tips less than 50p.
Repairs - as you can see from the earlier attachment, we have a massive range of all the parts you could need and if anything goes wrong with it inside or outside of the warranty period all you have to do is get in touch. We have been in business since 1996 so we are not a here one second, gone the next type of company - I am only 28 and i'm 'next in line' lets say. My intentions are to build Noz-Alls Ltd and the CWS brand up and have the same sort of awareness as the likes of SIP, Sealey and MachineMart while selling high quality products which will help to save you money.
Advice - Terry has been in the industry since he was 17. He is now... old.. ish, 57 and I have been involved with Noz-Alls since 2003 (the joys of a family business). Because we have been around for a fair amount of time and we love what we do / our products (yeah, it's a bit sad) we can give advice on pretty much whatever you need to know. Any good welding distributor will be able to do that - if you go to a box shifter company then the advice will obviously suffer.
We have just had our second shipment in and sales are still going well - it won't be long before someone buys one i'm sure.
If you can't make it to Cheltenham what about visiting us at the NEC? We will be at the Restoration Show in March - just wish me a happy Birthday if you

Well, CWS (tell us your name - we won't bite - I'm Scott ), thanks for posting.
It's good to hear from a manufacturer or an importer who takes their business seriously. I guess your brand is (currently) not so well known and I wish you luck in building the brand in the UK. From what I read, Longevity in the U.S. have a similar business model to yours in that they import, QA and then add after-sales service to the products and it seems to be working for them.
You only have four posts on this forum as I write this but do check out the "what should I buy?" sub-forum to get an idea of the purchasing power of the members on here. I wouldn't advise that you leap onto these posts with a "BUY A CWS!" message (in fact, I'd advise just the opposite!) but taking part in the general forums, offering advice on welds, etc under your brand name can't hurt.
In other words, don't just pop up when someone talks about buying a CWS - get well known on the forum and people will definitely take you more seriously.

Hi Scott. I'm Graham - I did introduce myself some time back (i think).
The intention was to post regularly and offer help. I don't like people that go full on in your face 'buy from us', it just paints people in the wrong light. If anything my big campaign would be encouraging people to buy from their local welding distributors rather than online shops, eBay and MachineMart
. Anyway, the intention was to appear on it regularly to help but all the 'internet stuff' is too easy to forget about.
Have you heard of R-tech? They have the same ethos. They buy from a company in China who they have the sole distribution rights with for the UK, they check and service etc in Gloucester and sell. Because they are just round the corner they are fairly well known around here. To be as well known as them will be the first step. We are not so well known purely on the basis that previous we were just wholesale and most of what we were doing was exporting so we didn't need anyone local to know us. How anti-business does that sound??

The MIG was the first logical step for us to have in our own range of CWS products. I have sample TIG machines here which I have tested (both DC and ACDC) as well as MMA. We are getting a new PCB board developed to produce a DC TIG which will fit in nicely at the 'entry level' of the market before going into the more costly professional items. Realistically we will be a good few months off yet as we want everything right first time.
As we grow and as sales develop then we have more money to reinvest and expand the range.
I appreciate that forums (particularly this one) have massive buying power but some items we make very slim margins on and to give a 'cover all' discount could backfire. We try to be as competitive as we can be online but would encourage anyone / everyone to call us before buying to avoid paying double carriage etc I am still working on a way to discount the prices online if someone buys products with the carriage cost included. Don't rule it out but I don't really see the point of doing what others do by way of mark their prices up 10% higher to give everyone a 10% discount.

ah you never know unless you try lol but sounds promising, to float an idea that a few people have asked for on here and something i'll be interested when i get a tig a starter/trial pack of various flavors of tig rods
