Last cv joint boot i fitted used the metal bands ,cimped up with side cutters , dunno what they are called but Dr oetker sounds good

The boot i fitted was more ridgid than rubber made of some kind of plastic ,guess they all are theses days ...

Any one ever fitted a' universal' boot ,sees like a good way of doing the job twice

have you tryed one of those funnel tube stretch tools you use to stretch the small hole over the body of the cv joint, i could not belive it into i tryed one myself. look up cv tool on utube, but then the same could be said about a condom stretching over a mans head.
