cutting torch

Hi All.

I require a cutting torch, i have a few thinks i need to cut parts off of - land rover chassis etc.

i thought about a plasma cutter but i also require the torch to get heat into certain parts so the will expand and come off etc.

i know machine mart sell a kit but could anyone recommend anything?

If you also need to heat then you're looking at an oxy/fuel setup. There's a useful thread here:

thanks, i have read about the flash arrestors and what they do. also some videos on youtube that explains what happens when slag gets on the oxy tube and can burn back to the cylinder.

i was thinking oxy / propane as i just need to cut / heat rather than weld.
