Do you have a leaf blower? presuming you do then cut them dry by cutting in front of the blower nozzle sitting on the ground...eliminates dust health issues and mess from cutting wet and the risks from a corded grinder...Stopped doing Pitched roofs now but when we did and we spent a full day cutting valleys and hips from concrete tiles i always had a young lad with a petrol leaf blower blowing the dust away as the other lad cut...my lads came off the scaffold free from white dust and reduced the associated health risks massivelyMy dad has asked me to cut a few fairly thick tiles for his fireplace there ceramic of sorts I think
I have my grinder and a stone wheel to use
How fast or slow shall I cut it?
I will upload Some pictures shortly

See abovethe disc my dad has is a steel stone disc
Buy a tile disk. They are solid rather than toothed and will minimise breakout.
Material will dictate speed. Treat it like metal and let the disk do the work.
Have a test on scrap.
If it's not gonna work bring em round here and il Chuck em on the big wetsaw
Sorry forgot all about your msg this evening.the reason I posted was to see how easy it was for me if not I will pay your to do it!
There only in Wilstead
