cutting meatal

What is the best way of cutting metal (car body) in hard to reach places . i have a small grinder but it ends up cutting the metal around the part that i wont to cut befrore i cut the bit i wont . if you see what i mean

Air hack saw? often get one of those in places other things wont go.

this what i wont to cut . i did this the first time with tin snips (very hard work) and the small grinder were it would fit . but now i wont it all square

at the moment it is all over the place

Hello harry,

aviation tin snips are much easier to use, and make short work of car body steel.

I find that no one tool is ideal and use cutting discs, air hack saw, aviation snips, air chisel and even my oxy\acetylene welding torch where it is really tight and inaccessible.

harry i havent forgotten about welding lesson, i might and thats a big might give you a shout for this weekend (depends on how the job im doing tommorrow goes)

Thank you Darren funny you should say that as I have a bit of welding that I am going to have to do and am going to need the practice . I will post pictures tomorow so you can all see what I am up to
