Seconded for the myconsumable site - I thought the prices were good and they seem like decent quality, but I'm not a heavy user so take that with a pinch of salt
I rate the klingspor ones.
SAIT are indeed shaite
Wurth are over priced and not great. Although they do a few quality levels
Try the 0.8 cutting discs. Cut anything easily, especially on a battery grinderMight have to give them a go, I rate there abrasive papers , been using Parweld and they wear pretty quick but are dead cheap, boring swapping out frequently tho..
Just spied klingspor 25 for 20quid on ebay which ain't bad !
I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate you posting these notes as a 'stickie' for all of us to consult.
(unless they are proprietary to your purchasing group of course)
Klingspoor for cutting,
last grinding and flap were tyrolit, got a good deal as I ordered with a load of steel. Worked well from what I recall
Oeer that would be good posted in here....save you some time replying individually??For general use on steel these seem to be a good choice for cost vs lifespan vs performance

We have a farriers buying group set up and get them in bulk for about half that price.
I have got hundreds here at the moment if you want to try some!
We did do a fair bit of testing on various types and some definitely work better than others for certain applications so if it's a specific job you are doing let me know as I have a few notes on what was good for what
Flexovit ultra-thin (0.8mm) are my fave slitting discs, but don't seem to be that widely available. HIS Lawson have them though.
