I don't find the branded ones much better than random bulk supplies, and am suspicious they're all made in the same factory..
Some of the plastic coatings , phenoic types are savage on blades , easier cutting aluminium.

Search for Saxton blades on eBay. Jigsaw blades. Ts blades and multitool blades come from them. Won't last any longer but cheaperWhat make of jigsaw blades do you guys use?
I've got some Bosch ones I've just been using and realized how blunt a very lightly used one was when compared to the teeth of a new one!
I mean they cut well when new but really don't seem to last long. I've been using them on the cabinet carcass so its chipboard not oak.
Thanks, I've just ordered a Trend 85mm blade for my 12V circular saw as it had a bent tooth! Fook knows how that happens
I've seen Saxton around so will try some for the jigsaw.
I bought my plunge saw from Screwfix but they don't sell the replacement blades
Coffee time now I've had enough!

I always bung 40 quid in a kitchen price for a straight flute and trscksaw bladedoesn't really matter how high quality any type of blade is when it comes to oak it'll blunt them all
pretty rapid . Just cheap ones even quicker !
that's the reason they give u a new cutter for router with worktops from howdens once only use. I cut some old worktops out with my chainsaw in seconds the chain was knacked with sparks flying from itI always bung 40 quid in a kitchen price for a straight flute and trscksaw blade

Get the odd stick of millable oak on occasion, on the mill green oak is not much different to softwood unless its a boundary tree full of inclusion.

Remember to drill out the holes through the cab tops an use a washer. Allows the top to move and use expansion brackets on the rear
