It is interesting. They say they found it’s better to pull than push. I always find pulling wrecks the disks in double quick time.

Is that a genuine 3M document because the grammar is terrible. I've got that grinder though. I find that the operator makes a lot of difference. I can make a disc last 3 times as long as my heavy handed mate. I find pushing easier so you can follow the line of cut instead of obscuring it.

I suspect the author's first language is not English as the back page notes 3M Netherlands and Belgium.

On the push vs. pull, pushing puts the burr on the underside whereas pulling puts it on the top. On some things (e.g. brushed stainless) that might be important.
