Cut off blade

Hi I have a Metabo cut off, with the abrasive wheel. Looking into a carbide cold saw blade, I was just about to click on a Makita specialised 305, but seen the max rpm is 2000, my saw is 4000+. What are you lads using?
Im just a beginner, finding my way around metal ( old joiner) wish I had tried welding years ago, I'm loving it.

Your saw is too fast for a carbide blade. Generally they run slower than abrasive saw blades..

^^ what he said. I tried it once on an old Makita chop saw, with a evolution 14" TCT blade. Did not last long at all. Was noisier and only cut a little quicker. (while it still had teeth)

IMHO you're better off buying good chop blades. Or saving up and buying a proper TCT saw like an Evolution S355. (seriously good saws)
