Personally if I was the OP I'd just replace the entire lead with quality stock. It won't be long and there's only a couple of crimps on the end.

I just know I'd need to re-plug it one day and would mess it up, sleeving or not!

I got a rotary tool a while ago with the same colour wires, came with a 2 pin plug, looked it up and I think those colours are the standard colours for certain countries, can't remember which

Those cuts look pretty good from where i'm standing . Got the DOA cut 50 on my desk at the moment once again trying to figure out whats up with it .
