The 2.5s & 5s is air flow after you stop. Its to cool the consumables. I would use 5s as the small amount of air extra should not be an issue & could save on spares.
cool! cheers!

jesus the instructions are terrible!
what input air psi do you reccomend
no air hose to hook up reg so im stumped till i figure out how to hook it up to my supply and i get some air hose
there is an earth terminal on the rear of the machine- does it need to be connected to anything?
I said earlier....
The aluminium will be swaged around a former that is 12mm thick plywood, I had thought that I could use the ply as a template on top of the aluminium.... I discovered that the template does something to the airflow of the gun and disrupts the plasma, causing lots of spluttering and gaps in the cut.
The laminate is about 6mm thick, I think the problem with using the thick template for me was that the long slots are very narrow and my guess is that the shield/cooling air gets turned back into the gun and affects the plasma. Are you saying that the laminate causes less problems? How thick is it?
Also, my instructions recommend 50 psi.
would you like to elaborate for us
All the areas on the wooden former where I wanted radii were routed to shape. How did you shape the edges of the holes?
Nice site
Just a little question for you, will the spare torch you advertise on your site fit my plasma shown below? And can you supply the consumables for it?
Hi Thanks for the comment on the site.
Yes, it should do. The torch connection is 3/8" BSP (as we know it in the UK ) and from the photo your unit looks about the same. Having said that (as you probably know) the Chinese sometimes make threads that look like that but are not quite the same. In most cases if you run a 3/8" BSP die over the thread it will come to the UK size. An easy check is to try connecting a 3/8" BSP fitting onto your unit, if it fits the torch will fit. Yes, the consumables are available but as a set. I guess you just want the extended components for copying? I will ask Mike Howard to list them separately as others may need them as well. If the torch dosn't fit for some reason I'm sure Mike will be happy to let you have a refund or please contact techsupport and I will see what we can do. More details about the torch we supply are available on the tech info part of our web site which I hope you find helpful.

Thanks, I'll probably order a torch soon as although I am happy with the unit I bought I feel the torch that came with is lacks quality, the trigger is very flimsy and just held to the head with some small zip ties
I'll check the threads first though
Not sure what you mean by this, was hoping you could supply spare tips for the torch you are selling on the site, is a set comprised of the ceramic and brass parts?
