Custom tax??

can you claim back the custom tax if you are sending the goods back to where it came from(USA) and how do I go about it.

unsure, but I would think so. best check with HMRC before sending as you may not be able to claim back if paperwork is not in order.

Yes you can, I claimed vat and duty back on an engine adapter kit
returned to me from the states, I had to pay the duty and vat to get
it back from parcelfarce.

Funny thing was the septic was a lawyer and had me
put all sorts of **** on the invoice to him, stating the
tax codes everything came under and all sorts of ****.
Yet when he sent it back to be altered he filled everything
in wrong..
