Curious,question for HGV drivers/spotters

There's a great Youtuber called JoeMcCool, he is a time-served Irish Gardner mechanic, sharing his expertise in a very down to earth manner.

An old gardener toolmaker gave this to me last winter,he was late ‘80’s then,and appreciated my passion for old British manufacturers.

crows the amusment fair operators were buying loads of gardener engines up for peanuts 30 years ago a well tried and tested good engine

Used to remove from some old Bristol buses & send to Hong Kong for fitting into Junks

Same with the Leyland engines in the Atlanteans. There are many junks with old Corpy bus engines fitted. When I worked for Glasgow Corpy I asked what happened to the old buses and found that out.
