crimping pliers: i'm after some.
for crimping insulated and uninsulated barrels, rings and forks to 1mm² to 6mm² cable - dunno what that is in swg.
ideally one set of ratchet handles, with interchangeable jaws.
can someone recommend a set: preferably with a link.
no hurry for them - chinese supplier will be ok.
I've got a cheap and cheerful no-name crimping tool for the usual red/blue/yellow insulated crimps, but that's not much help I know.
Came from a local electrical stockist that supplies a lot of the local sparks, so it's not toffee.
As far as name-branded stuff goes, years ago I bought a Pro's Kit crimping kit for co-ax from CPC/Farnell for a bargain £25 - complete with five or six sets of different jaws and stripper, etc.
I'd happily buy another one, but the list price is well over a ton now. However, the quality has been fine, so that's a roundabout way of recommending Pro's Kit crimpers.
