My previous car had cooled as well as heated seats. It was an amusing party trick to set the passenger seat onto maximum cooling and watch the passenger squirm in embarassment.

Humans have no sense of 'wet'. We sense cold and interpret that as the evapourative cooling effect.

We have them on our Hyundai Tucson ....I find them quite good on a long drive as it seems to keep me more awake....heated seats generally make my want to take a nap!

...does seem like yet another thing to go wrong though....so we'll be selling that car prior to the warranty running out me thinks!

Have cooled seats on the present car. The buttons that control them are placed on a low down central console along with a number of other "really useful" buttons, just behind the drive selector. I did once manage to accidentally twiddle the said button and wondered why I was getting rather cold in the base regions.
