I will have a read, thanks. Had kind of decided on Kunifer rather than copper.
My main concern is flaring the steel pipe but sounds like this may be ok, as really dont want to replace the entire pipe.
Also bought some small pulley/wheels t try and make a pipe straightner.

I've had one that looks almost the same for ever, must have done at least 100 flares with it, mostly Kunifer but some steel.
I've seen a few much more expensive types where the little pin that goes inside the pipe has broken off due to carelessness when removing it,
I have been doing brakes pipes for years (no decades).

Can anyone just confirm 100% for me that a 2005 BMW 3 series uses Din type flare? I am pretty certain it is as the back of the flare is flat rather than angled.
