Ok so I have a Clark Boxer compressor for DIY use it has been fine for years. Recent have been using it for extended periods ie hours of use.
When draining the tank at the end of the day instead of the normal water with a greasy feel. We get a creamy emulsified oil mixture. Also noticed a slight oily smell to the air after the filter stages.
Is the normal with extended use or are the compressor piston rings (if it had them) worn and passing oil?
