Yup using 3 colours and each is a different brand but this creality pla+ is terrible!Do other filaments work fine?
Are the others PLA+ too or just PLA? PLA+ requires a bit higher temperature.Yup using 3 colours and each is a different brand but this creality pla+ is terrible!
Yea main other colour is pla+ but the white is just pla however the creality goes down first and even on a clean bed it still does the grinding/underextrusion.Are the others PLA+ too or just PLA? PLA+ requires a bit higher temperature.
Which PLA? i have been using their hyper PLA with no problems.
Creality say for the Ender PLA+
Nozzle temp 190-230 recommended temp 200℃
Bed No heating to 60℃ Recommended 50℃
Chamber Temp less than 60℃
Print speed 40-100 mm/s Recommended 50 mm/s
But have found even with Sunlu Petg different colours have different flow rates.
Does look like under-extrusion Only thing i can think is slow the first & second layer down to something like 20mm/s and try 230c for nozzle temp. never tried that filament so cant be much help.Tried 215-225°c with bed at standard prusa pla 50-60°c setting and my normal print speeds are pretty fast but I've got first layer speed to 30mm/s I think however it still does the gaps like it's underextruding or z height is wrong (it isn't) so I think it's just slipping in the extruder gear and thus not pushing.
I think it's mostly slipping in the extruder, I can feed it in manually stupidly fast like squirting toothpaste out a tube but I guess the extruder gear doesn't have enough grip on it compared to other filaments.Does look like under-extrusion Only thing i can think is slow the first & second layer down to something like 20mm/s and try 230c for nozzle temp. never tried that filament so cant be much help.
