Crap response from meddings

Carparts4less and EuroCarParts are usually pretty useless to deal with, but their minimum spend for free postage is only £15 and at least you can usually find something to pad out the order.

I think Parker Steel are way out in front on delivery charges. I discovered a few weeks ago that they've recently upped their minimum order for free delivery from £150 ex VAT to £500 ex VAT.

Two weeks ago I bought a couple of hundred quids worth of Steel and got spanked with a delivery charge of £50 ex VAT on top. Not likely to be buying from them again.

Boxford is the same.

£10 admin fee to encourage someone to get off of their **** to find the parts, £15 minimum order, +postage +VAT.

Oh no, I’ve seen Boxford’s parts bins, you’re actually paying retrospectively for the time it took someone to organise them. Basically towers about 5m x 5m square, maybe 15m high, key in a code and a robot arm brings you the part... like the best vending machine ever. Just imagine the practical jokes you could play at with that setup.

I do sort of get it, But they should just send what you need!

They both have totally dis-functional customer support.
After a car battery was not delivered, no response at all, after weeks. I had to go to Paypal for the refund.

I remember getting a parts list including prices when I was restoring my Meddings. The prices were quite shocking & it would have been very easy to spend £25, though at that time there was no minimum spend.
