Someone posted this on another forum, I asked how it was mounted and the base fits on the towhitch with a couple of ratchet straps back to the Isofix (child seat mount) brackets 

Iso fix brackets are not designed for a rear pull load. When I worked at the old place we made them for Toyota. Lots of Destruction Testing with them.
a few years ago I did fit an electric hoist designed for a wheelchair to my polo when I needed up pick up a spare engine.

it ended up being given away to someone on here many years ago, the 12V rams worked well. I just drilled 2 holes in the boot floor to mount the base and used a couple of existing holes in the inner wheel arch.
