Hi all, got a bit of an issue with a stainless pipe, it had a pin hole on a stabbing which when attempted to weld small fine cracks appeared spurring around the weld and made the leak worse, we did not attempt to weld these cracks as we're pretty sure more cracks would have appeared.
Its worth noting this is a stainless pipe that is on a temperature control skid that heats the water up to approx 90 degrees C on a daily basis,
Any explanations/solutions to this would be much appreciated, I'm hoping to find some knowledge behind this as it's not something I've come across.
(it's the weld on the pipe near to the flange on the underside in the picture)
TIA
