Coventry Diehead Chasers/Dies

Picked some of these up, no head though.

I believe these ones are sets, they were taped together anyway

this set has a chipped one

and a load of randoms

So my questions are;

How do i find out what head they fit ? they're 1/2" wide

Are they worth anything ? I guess the sets are to someone, is there a way to confirm they actually are a set ? but what about the singles, do they have a use ?

Look at Tracy Tools: they (maybe used to) sell a holder so you can use a single chaser in a lathe toolpost.

but what about the singles, do they have a use ?

I used to braze them to a length of square bar and use them for screw cutting in the centre lathe. Perfect form, perfect thread.

Look at the set's...there should be a small number 1-4 stamped on each one.
As far as the singles, look thru them as well, you might be able to pair them up.

Roughly £5ish a set (check the letters on rear) to ensure they are actual sets.
If you get a die head ..I can supply you with loads of sets (listing will appear at some stage)
Aside from using them as thread chasers (as suggested above) the Randoms are sadly just scrap
