countersinks

Feeling a bit flush here, my old countersink bit has died and I'm sick of pentagonal countersinks made using a 13mm drill bit. Weird how they are always pentagonal.
Can anybody reccomend a decent set that wont break the bank. I'm looking at M5, M6, M8 and occasionally M10.
A boxed set is handy as they will be looked after better

I bought a set of Keo zero flute countersinks, they weren't cheap, even with them being on offer from MSC. Without going out to the workshop, I think they cobalt steel. They are marvellous compared to big drills or other counter sinks.

There are a few different angles and material types so would search for zero flute and see what comes up in your price range.

The zero flute ones don't chatter and leave polygonal holes when hand drilling.

There are sets of Presto countersinks on ebay for not silly money. I had a few presto ones and they are good, but running them too fast kills them.

WNT ones are excellent especially when on offer like now
I bought a few sets and gave them to friends and kept a couple for myself, I am still on the first set after a couple of years and a lot of my work is 316 stainless.
