to stop the knife marking the counter top.
Note, this is a very low skill task.
I was not wanting a mirror finish cheese board. I was wanting a sacrificial block to stop the knife marking the counter top.
It's not really meant to be a looker, but, for a quick job from scrap, it's fine.
Ive got a pair of clamps like the T shaped ones on the bottom....love em.......great for doing anything like that
No idea where I got them....Never seen any more, until now
Could you say a word or two about how you got it from the clamp-up dimensions to the finished dimensions. In the clamps it looks almost twice as thick as in the other picture but that might be an illusion. Thanks.
Ive a feeling mine are the same...What's that rubbish tool company that makes junk, ronsons or somthing?
Surprisingly that's what they are!

I think, but I've not looked for ages, that the thin spindley ones on the top are record. Generally a much more regarded company.
I'll check for sure when I next go out.
(Like I say, it's a chopping board!)
Not seen that stuff in years, spent many hours one winter making a water ski using that stuff and lots of bits of wood laminated on a mould. 84 maybeold school cascamite waterproof wood gluenice job
