Hello,
I've got a Cosmo 145A mig welder I purchased about 18 months ago.
Its only had light use, mainly because I can't get a good weld out of it...and it seems to be getting worse!
I'm only using CO2, but the wire speed seems far too fast for the current available, and as you increase the current the speed automatically speeds up.
I have tried turning the wire feed speed down to zero, and even tried adjusting the potentiometer on the circuit board, but it will only adjust so far before the wire feed will not work.
Has anyone had a similar proble or is this thing ready for the skip?
I paid about £200 for it, and can get a much better weld out of my mates 15 year old 130 mini mig.
I'm losing patience with it, and wonder if there is a problem with the transformer, circuit board, or whether they're just plain junk out of the factory?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Rob
