cosmo 130 switch

hi all,ive got a cosmo 130,now Ive got myself up to date with the rocker switches but what is going on with the round switch ,it has + and - signs on both sides as though it is two separate functions controlled by one dial,could someone please explain to me how it works ,thanks

Do you mean the "wire feed" speed control?

If you are running gas you turn it to the +, if you swap the earth over to run flux you turn it to the - (probably) That's how my old erfi used to work.

yes, it is the wire feed speed ,but why one switch with two readings,and if it is for gas and gassless,could anybody tell me which side is which,thanks

sorry, I have no idea how to put pictures up,but it is basically a knob that has a + and - scale on both sides,and it can rotate on both scales but has no pointer to show which scale you are actually working on and no info about which scale is what,even the instruction booklet doesn't explain it
