Have any of you Cornish residents seen any good bands lately? My friend is getting married in bude next year and we're looking for a band to book. Bands from further a field are charging a fortune to travel down.
Obviously we will pay the going rate, not looking for a cheapy just someone more local.
Something retro would be good, rock n roll, r and b, indie, ska anything considered really.
Any contacts or band names would be great.

I'm in Cornwall, coincidentally have a mate who runs a hotel in Bude who put on bands. Even more of a coincidence, I'm going to his wedding on Saturday, where there are a few bands going to play, if you want me to tap him for numbers, pm me with your contact details.

My mate suggests finding the mighty revs or the Liskeard music group who he reckons should be able to sort it for you if cobbs mate doesn't come through. Good luck.
