well I couldn't resist I went for the 3/8 impact wrench, drill set, and impact driver oh and an extra 4AH battery as the drill comes with 2 x 2AH ones

I got that m12 free when I opened an account with howdens when I was sparkying...one of my fave tools, light and has enough power for most jobs...

very light weight I couldnt believe it quite plasticy too I cant wait to test the hammer action out on the drill

Received the impact wrench today just been using it lovely little light weight unit It will make a great addition to my workshop kit

what is the difference with these 2 i know one says impact and the other does not but they look identical

ones CE spec and ones UL CSA spec, which in this case prob means one gets one sticker, the other gets another

are they both impact ratchets though?

Oh yes.
But if I remember correctly wasn't there something said on here about warranty problems (i.e none) for those purchased from over the water? A slight downer if so.

Just got a new Toolstation book in the post today on the front cover is a 3 piece kit 18v.
18v Drill
18v Angle grinder
12v Torch
2 x 5Ah 18v Batts
1 x 2Ah 12v Batt
Charger

A lot of kit considering the 5Ah bats. But front cover shows price of £299.98 cat number 76486 but web site still showing £449.98.

Will keep an eye on price very tempted.

It was me, and there is no warranty in the uk for tools bought in north america, the excuse being that they don't know how to service UL or CSA certified tools and they are entirely different inside (horse manure)

I took mine apart and found a small piece of schmoo stopping the trigger from fully returning on my 18v fuel impact driver

did u remove the schmoo

I knew the new book and prices was coming out the bits I got are due to go up in price but I am waiting until next week for some bits as they have been out of stock for a week or more, I cant justify the price of a ratchet here need to wait until I get to the usa
