Corded impact wrenches - CLARKE CEW1000

I've just tried doing some work on my trailer and simply can't produce enough strength (post stroke) anymore to undo tight fittings.
Whilst I have an air impact wrench I don't want the need to fire up my large compressor every time it's needed and my small compressor simply isn't big enough to power more than a few seconds.
A cordless impact wrench from eBay has proved to be a waste of money as no power.
That leaves corded impact wrenches as the next option.
Problem is total lack of money means limited amount I can spend so am looking at the lower end of the market.
Quick check of eBay and reviews shows the CLARKE CEW1000 could be worth considering.
What do people think of the CLARKE CEW1000 ?

I believe Clarke also do a cordless 24v 450Nm impact driver, might be worth a look at. My Dewalt 18v is only 420Nm and I find that powerful enough for most jobs. My main concern with the Clarke stuff is how long do the batteries last. But if they are correct then 450 Nm should be good enough for most jobs and Machine Mart don't usually quibble about warranty issues.

I like my cew1000,hasn't failed to loosen anything yet ,but go and see it rather than buy online as physically its much bigger than you would think

If your hand is weak mains one or 12v corded one may be better as the good cordless ones are heavy.

ive thought about one too, a couple of mates report that they are pleased with thiers

ive got a cordless one thats a few years and the batteries have died ..not worth replacing for occaisional diy use
