Hi all, any recommondations on corded handheld drills that are ideal for hole saw cutting into empty gas cylinders etc. and preferably for less than £100.
Thanks
Have you looked at SDS drills you want one with variable speed that you can turn the hammer off, they normally have a good clutch, would probably get a Dewalt on offer for around £100.00
Or look on ebay for geared drills something nice and slow sometimes listed a plaster stirrers. i will look out the modle number of my big Makita later on. Powerful but no clutch so you need to hold on tight.
If you want a proper tool for using holesaws, (if we are talking biggish ones) you want something like a Makita 8406/Hitachi DC120V...but a bit more spendy than £100...
Next step down would be one of the more compact but low geared drill. Metabo do a great one
Then you get down to the likes of just good variable speed drills...plenty of good ones about for ~£100 which should cope with 40-50mm hole saws reasonably well.
AEG do a decent corded drill i brought one as my mate recomended it to me no probs with it and it gets used and abused it is sds but i have a chuck to convert it to a standard
