For me,if it was a trendy city kitchen then it might not be appropriate,but in a wonky leaning 16th century farmhouse it’s in keeping and inviting,I’ve done stainless kitchens in restaurants and they’re a different requirement in terms of style and appearance,ultimately down to taste.Middle bit looks good. Skirts on the left and right would drive me to distraction though with the joints and all the hammer marks(?)
Cost,then fab time ,most folds had to be done over a plate with a mallet,I imagine the braizing may have been a tiny bit quicker though.How come you went with such a thin sheet? It must mark so easily.
Going up a few thicknesses would make life easier when it comes to doing corners and things in the long run wouldn't it ?
