I found this thread on this forum and wondered if anyone has tried it out recently. I would like to copper plate steel brackets to make them weather proof. It could actually be any type of plating, whatever lasts longer/easiest to do but copper would do nicely.

Copper plating, working in cup and bucket measures, 4 buckets of water (20 litres), 0.5 bucket copper sulphate, 1 cup battery acid (30% sulphuric)
