Coolant

Hi there,

I am looking to buy some water soluble coolant for my power hacksaw as it has a suds pump. I have been reading that Rocol is good brand, which one specifically should I use?

Also the saw is something that will be used every now and again, maybe a few times a month. I have been reading that bacteria can grow in the coolant if its not used often, what can I do to prevent this? It would be a pain to drain it and fill it everytime I want to use the saw.

I use rocol can't remember the exact grade, it is fairly good even when been left for a wile. It some times separates but mixes up again quickly. For a power hacksaw 1ltr of oil will last years.

its probably the best and i use it but u pay for the name. theres cheaper makes thats probably as good but i dont know which

I was gifted 20ltr and when it runs out i think ile stick to the same

is that diluted or neat. i bought a gallon concentrate

i use multispec Multicut Soluble Oil from chronos... 25:1
bought a 5 ltr a long time ago and still using it lol.

We switched from castrol hysol to rocol ultracut 260 in our 12 cnc machines and 5 manuals and nearly doubles the drill life if we are running a lot of stainless especially. Noticed a marked I.improvement in the life of our u drill inserts too.
