Converting TO gasless?

I think this may have been covered but I have yet to find a definitive answer...

Can I use gasless wire if I can figure out the least destructive way of changing the polarity? If it looks feasible I may mod my machine with some terminals when I do the eurotorch plug conversion. Obviously I will need the right size tips and feed roller although I see 0.8 is available from Weldequip...

Basically I am likely to be doing some railings and arches in the garden soon and I am too cheap to buy a decent stick welder for now!

Sorry, just found the answer to be 'not really unless there are terminals on the front to change polarity'

Mods- Perhaps we could consider deleting this thread?

Might invest in one of those shieldy tent doohickeys until I can get a decent stick welder (Oh how I want a stick welder!!), just didn't want to get one of those cheap buzzbox things as tempting as they are for the price.

yeh, i use mig outside all the time with no issures, i also tig weld out side too still use stick for important welds
