Convert Bottle jack to Hydraulic Ram

Anybody know how to convert a Bottle Jack to run off a Hydraulic Pump

I would guess the easiest way is to fit the hose to the thread the relief valve
was in. only other way I can think of is to put a port straight into the cylinder.

just drill through the base or the side of the base check on the inside to make sure there is no holes before drilling then just tap the hole

if you put a hose directly into the relief valve it will also pump oil into the Jack reservoir

Not if you have a fitting that seats on the seat. I have an old Lake Elliot jack
that came off a small press and it was like it.
