Contracts Signed for 3 UK Small Modular Reactors

It's barely made the news, but the Government has finally signed off for Rolls Royce to build 3 SMR, all at Wylfa in north Wales, on the site of the old Magnox reactor which is there https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c87w5ld0p80o. 8000 jobs and on stream sometime in the 2030's.

So far as I know, no body has actually started work on an SMR anywhere in the world, but there's been endless talk about them.
