You can get a new Hager garage consumer unit with more appropriate MCBs, and an RCD, for about £50.

One thing I found is you can't assume you'll be able to get MCBs to fit it. It's amusing that they are mounted to an industry stand DIN rail yet they are all different. There are people who have cottoned on to this and list decomissioned stuff on ebay. I've got a Steeple consumer unit and even though Steeple will tell the new MCB are a like for like fit they don't fit at unless you want to start adjusting.

Go for a named brand, they aren't all that expensive if you shop around and at least you will have a fighting chance of getting replacement MCBs/RCBOs for it in the future if you need to, along with some peace of mind over the quality.
