Ebay?Where do people get consumables from? I’m thinking anything from welding consumables to nuts bolts, automotive connectors. We used to have a van come round selling everything like it but unfortunately he’s now retired.

I didn’t realise toolstation/screw fix done so much.That's a damn good question. We used to have half a dozen shops that you could get almost anything from.
But since Maplins went. Graham Engineering went. Smallmans and Paskins both closed.
Ebay was the only other place. Since that's become Chinese based and much of it shipped from China I have switched to amazon and Toolstation/ screwfix.
Parts for 3D printers, CNC and Laser are not available locally.
