if its as good as you say then it id be close to the makita power maybe.I use exactly the same die grinder and I find it very good quite torquey. as you say for thirty quid. I also have an air one which is a pain in the ass having to start up the compressor. But the main advantage is that is is not cold on the hands which an air one is.
so then one would have to ask is the brand name worth paying for (i do like brand names) and would the makita outlast 9 of them.
its a cheap trial imo.
i know a man that did....Nope it is up to the job alright I had a cheap electric one before (that I killed) it had nowhere near the torque of this one. I run it with carbides for aluminium. But variable speed would be nice. You also need to bear in mind that I could break an anvil.
