I'm not trying to be smarty, but wouldn't you be best off getting a cylinder to fit the regulator and throw away the disposable as it'll most likely only last a couple of minutes?

I will use up the small bottles I have during my initial testing, then no doubt get a bigger cylinder going forward

Sounds like a plan. I'm new to all this stuff and got a small non disposable cylinder from adams gas and was shocked how quickly I got through it! Going to get a much bigger one next time!

It would be handy to have a twin gauge reg for those little bottles. I'm surprised nobody makes miniature versions.

They do Malcolm, I used to use this one when I started off on disposables. It will probably come in handy again for a small argon bottle in the future.

I had no idea they were available - all the ones I've seen have no gauges at all. Where did you get that from Rich?

It'll be a Sealey I should think, useful but silly money for what they are...you can get an industrial regulator for the same kind of price.
